Simon was so impressed he wrote us a blog about his experiences at the festival:

"What an experience, watching first hand as David was transformed into a Dragon at the hands of Sparkle, it was all I could do to hold the camera still!

"It was such a strange afternoon as we entered another world in the heart of Bodmin Moor.

"But suddenly we were the ones out of place and overdressed as we found ourselves amongst Goblins, Fareies, Elves and a whole range of mythical creatures - all walking around like it was the most natural thing to do.

"When we arrived we didn't know what to expect - but as the afternoon rolled on it was clear that the group of people joining in The Three Wishes Faery Festival really believed they were the characters they were dressed as.

"How weird was it to see Goblins sat down chatting on a mobile phone - surely they can communicate in more mysterious ways than that! Or wizards carrying a soft drink with a straw back to his family.

"For sure though, to see David get in the car at the end of the day, face painted and looking, may I say quite fetching, only to realize that he needed diesel on the way home - well that just rounded the day off nicely.

"Absolutely random and without doubt the most surreal experience I've had for a long time, but they all seemed so happy and relaxed so you have to ask... Who's got it right?"
