The Trelawny Challenge invites choirs, families, friends and individuals to join together to sing 'Trelawny' on Friday 7 November for Pudsey. Almost £12,000 was raised last year as hundreds of people across pubs and clubs in Cornwall sang Trelawny in November 2007. Now the organisers, The Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs, hope to repeat the success again this year raising thousands of pounds for Pudsey. ![]() Pudsey leads the way! Venues confirmed for the event are: BUDE - Bude Social Club (Mevagissey MC) BBC Cornwall's Matt Shepherd has been along to meet the members of the St Colomba Celtic Male Voice Choir at their rehearsal hall in Summercourt. Help playing audio/video All you have to do is get together with your friends, or persuade your local choir, or family to join with you just after 9pm on Friday 7 November 2008. On BBC Radio Cornwall after the 9pm news summary Debbie McCrory and Joy Robinson will count down to the start of the challenge when everyone can join in at home, at the pub, or anywhere in Cornwall, and sing Trelawny. The Federation of Male Voice Choirs in Cornwall is hoping that 20,000 Cornish men (and women and children) will join in and sing the great Cornish Anthem.
