Every year, BBC Children in Need improves the lives of children in Cornwall and the rest of the UK, and we can only do this because of your generosity.

A large amount of the money raised comes from people who organise fun events and activities that are either sponsored or people pay to be involved in.

Now is the time to start planning your event for the BBC's Children in Need Appeal 2008.

The fundraising packs contain lots of great ideas to get your events going, whether you are planning to raise money with your family and friends, your workplace or in your school.

In 2007 schools, colleges, hospitals and local businesses got involved in some great fundraising.

It doesn't matter whether you sit in a bath of beans, have your head shaved, or your legs waxed, when it comes to BBC Children in Need in Cornwall, many people get involved in the fun.
