Pudsey's Aquarium Party

Radio and TV celebrities from BBC South West will be joining Pudsey Bear for a Children In Need day party at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. Places are limited, so sign up for tickets now.

Hundreds of fundraisers will be joining Pudsey and BBC radio and TV presenters for a Children in Need party at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.

BBC Spotlight celebrities Justin Leigh, Victoria Graham and David Braine will be there, finding out how much money has been raised this year - whether from eating baked beans, bathing in a tub of jelly, shaving heads or climbing a mountain!

In 2006 people across the South West raised a total of £331,650 on Children in Need night; it's hoped this year will be just as successful - or better!

Guests will include male voice choirs from Cornwall, local schoolchildren, the former British Champion free-diver Hannah Stacey and last, but not least, the sharks and fish from Britain's biggest aquarium.

The party will be held on Friday 16 November with admission for fund-raisers from 7pm - but entry is strictly by ticket only.

If you've planned your event or raised money for Children in Need and would like to join us at the party, contact pudseytickets@bbc.co.uk or send a SAE to:

Local radio listeners will be able to join in the fun with Duncan Warren, who will be broadcasting live from the aquarium from 7-10pm - bringing you a flavour of what people across the South West have been doing for Children in Need.

Every single penny raised will go towards helping disadvantaged children, including those with acquired brain injuries, special needs, behavioural problems, and those who have been homeless or bereaved.

A single fundraising activity arranged by you, your family, your school or place of work will enable us to help children and young people who might otherwise miss out.

We hope to see you on the night at the National Marine Aquarium - but remember entry is by ticket only.

The Aquarium will be open for ticket-holders from 7-10pm. A café will be available with a selection of food and drink.

If you can't make it on the night you can watch the fun on BBC One.
