Find out how you can take part in what could be the world's biggest pyjama party... Dig out your favourite slippers it's time to go clubbing... No we haven't taken leave of our senses - but Pudsey would like you to take part in a massive charity Pyjama Party in Newquay. ![]() The Barracuda in Newquay It's a world record attempt to see if the Barracuda Club can stage the biggest Pyjama Party. Even better, all the money raised on the night will go to BBC Children In Need. The Barracuda will be holding the £1 pyjama party on Friday 16 November, the same day of the BBC Appeal. Newquay's own Chunky Kustard have offered to play free of charge from 8pm, and the DJ on the night, Steve Merrick is donating his wage to Children In Need. Any other South West bands who are interested in taking to the stage (in their pyjamas of course) for this worthy cause should contact the Barracuda on 01637 875800. Breaking a record for PudseyThe current world record for the biggest ever pyjama party is held by the McLean Bible Church, Virginia USA, where 1045 students attended a sleep-over in 2003. ![]() Pudsey Bear For the Barracuda's record attempt, everyone will receive a BBC Children In Need gift on entry. There will also be a surprise DJ who will be announced soon & fun fundraising games. Barry Croxall & Tarin Heaton-Heather, the organisers of the event have told us that the capacity of the Barracuda is 1460. A sell out night would more than smash the current world record, and raise lots of money for good old Pudsey!
