BBC Radio Cornwall's Laurence Reed has become a Fairy Godfather type. Taking a leaf out of Jimmy Saville's book, he's been making dreams come true for people in Cornwall. And it's all in aid of the BBC's Children In Need Appeal. A special radio series has been produced looking at the 'fix its' that Laurence has been able to organise for a handful of lucky people in Cornwall. | | Move over Jim - Laz'll Fix It |
His first mission was to make a dream come true for Francesca, she has done lots of work for charity in Cornwall, and she's always wanted to be a zoo keeper for the day. So her friend Sheryl made a donation to the BBC Appeal and the work began. As our photo gallery and radio report prove, this dream was not a problem for Children In Need and Laz'll Fix it: Lazzer's second mission was to fix it for Peter Applby from Wadebridge to drive the Torpoint Ferry. Peter Grew up in Torpoint watching the ferry and rang in to see if Laz could fix it for him. See his gallery and listen to the interview. And come mid-week there was no stopping our man in the shell suit. For Wednesday Lazzer organised at the Lanhydrock Estate involving the Side Saddle Association.
