What does 'seasonal' mean?

In relation to 'seasonal produce', this means fruits and vegetables that are best picked and eaten during specific times of the year, such as summer strawberries or autumn apples. 

This autumn, pumpkins and squash are used in recipes and decoration, especially for Halloween!
