CBeebies Christmas Panto 2026: Treasure Island

The CBeebies Christmas Panto 2026 sets sail for Liverpool with a swashbuckling adventure full of CBeebies stars! Find out everything you need to know about this year’s pantomime, with cast announcements and ticket information coming soon.

CBeebies Christmas Panto is back this year with a retelling of the popular classic tale, Treasure Island.

Expect singing, dancing and laughs for everyone in this reimagined pirate classic that celebrates family and listening to the people you love most.

Join Jim and his dad, Bertie as they set off on a treasure hunt across the high seas where along the way, they’ll encounter sneaky pirates, a chatty seagull and even a very festive surprise!

As ever, the show will feature many of CBeebies' most popular actors and presenters, including Andy Day and more to be announced.

With music from Banks & Wag, this Christmas special will include songs sure to have everyone from preschoolers to grannies singing, dancing and a-harr’ing along. It’s festive fun for all the family!

Produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions, the CBeebies Panto: Treasure Island will be recorded on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2026 at Liverpool’s Empire Theatre and will be available on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer across the festive period.

The secret is out! A message scrawled on a tattered, wind-beaten piece of parchment, discovered inside a mysterious bottle recovered from the sea this afternoon, has revealed that tickets for the CBeebies Panto: Treasure Island will go on sale on Monday 13 July 2026.

Q. Apart from the theatre, how can we watch the Christmas Show?

A. The show will be available on CBeebies, BBC iPlayer and will have a limited Cinema release before being shown on the BBC.

Q. How much are you charging for the theatre tickets?

A. There will be two performances (1pm and 4.30pm) on both Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October. Theatre Tickets are £22, £26 or £30 per ticket inclusive of fees.

Q. Can parents bring in children under 12 months to sit on laps for free?

A: The performance is suitable for children aged 3 upwards. But children up to 12 months (babes in arms) are welcome to attend and ‘go free on knees’. There are limited numbers of ‘babes in arms’ tickets per performance due to safety restrictions. Babes in arms tickets can be selected during the online booking process or via ATG Tickets if booking by phone. Please note that babes in arms are not allocated a seat and must remain on the lap of their parent/guardian during the performance.

Q: When do tickets go on sale and how can I buy them?

A: The majority of tickets go on general sale at 10am on Monday 13th July. You can buy them online at: https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/cbeebies-panto-treasure-island/liverpool-empire/ The remaining tickets will be available for purchase at a time yet to be confirmed. Q: How do people get theatre tickets online?

A: You will be able to access the show page on Monday 13th July from 10am at https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/cbeebies-panto-treasure-island/liverpool-empire/

This show page will give you some general information about the show (dates, times, prices and access information). When the first release of tickets sells out, the ‘Buy Tickets’ button will be removed from the page and will reappear when tickets are again available.

When you click the ‘Buy Tickets’ button, you will automatically be placed in a queue from 10am (on sale time). The queue may be very busy on the day, so please be patient. When your turn arrives, you will be able to choose the number of tickets (maximum 6 per booking) and location of seats and type of tickets you wish to purchase. After reviewing your Basket, you will be asked to either log into your account with us or create a new account. Once you have signed up or logged in, you will be able to complete your purchase.

Q:How many tickets can one person purchase?

A: There is a limit of 6 tickets per booking on all booking platforms.

Q: Will you reduce the price of tickets to sell them?

A: No. The theatre ticket prices will not change from those already stated.

Q: Are any more tickets available?

A: A small number of additional tickets MAY become available closer to the event, once stage plans are finalised.

Q:How long is the theatre show?

A: The running time of the performance is 75 minutes; we anticipate the audience will be in the theatre for around an hour and a half.

Q: Are any of the tickets restricted view and if so are these offered at a reduced rate?

Q: Are tickets refundable?

Q: If one of our party finds the theatre environment overwhelming, is there any provision on offer to accommodate?

A: Yes. There will be a breakout space outside the main auditorium where audience members can breakout for some or all of the performance. This space will be clearly signposted but please do speak to a member of the team on the day should you require access.

Q: Will I be able to park my pram somewhere safe?

A: The Theatre will provide limited space for pram parking and there will be clear signage on the day. Prams and any belongings will be left at owner’s risk. No Prams or Pushchairs can be taken into the auditorium.

Q: Can I bring my own food and drink to the venue?

A: You are welcome to bring any prepackaged and unopened food and drink. No hot food or alcohol will be permitted. Bars and kiosks will be open for you to purchase any refreshments and snacks.

Q: Can my kids get up and sit at the front of the venue/Can my kids get up and join in?

A: For the safety of everyone at the show, we ask that children stay in their allocated seats during the show.

Q Is there a dress code for the CBeebies Panto? 

A: There isn’t an official dress code but we fully encourage Christmas jumpers and other festive wear! Please try and avoid any large, branded logos/characters wherever possible. And feel free for anyone in your party to dress as a pirate but please make sure any pirate swords are left at home! 

Q: Am I guaranteed entrance?

A: Yes, if you have a ticket.

Q: Are all the performances filmed for TV?

A: The four performances on Saturday and Sunday will be filmed. By purchasing a ticket and attending the performance(s) you agree to be included in the filmed performance.
