We live near Midsummer Common, and this is what we heard and saw : drunk yells and loud music from parked cars all the night, mountains of scattered litter and broken glass all over the place, drunk men relieving themselves in the streets... We enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

In response to 'Anon' - Have you ever ventured out of your tiny bubble and attended any form of music festival in your life? You can smell the sweet fragrance of drugs, and watch drunken mature men urinating up trees at the Folk Festival in Cambridge. And if you think Strawberry Fair is a 'blatant abuse of the law' please never consider going to Glastonbury! Stawberry Fair is an event that gives people far more happiness through Music, Art and Drama than what the attendees gain from being allowed to openly partake in their very habitual drug use. And if you think that the police didn't arrested anybody for thier 'anti-social' behaviour, you are sadly mistaken. Strawberry Fair is the heart of the Arts in Cambridge, take it way and watch the creativity die!

Th best fair i've been to. Sun. Highlights broken family band makin the acoustic tent dance free love and hamfatter headlining. Enough to make anyone proud of the music coming out of cambridge! roll on next year

It was the best Strawberry Fair in years. Highlight of the day was the Broken Family Band. The event was well run and policed and for Anon to call it a "drug fest" seems incredibly narrow minded.

I am utterly shocked that this drug fest is still allowed to occur in its current form. For young children to be around such blatant abuse of the law. I saw an incredible amount of cocaine being used and the air was thick with the foul smell of drugs. What in earth are the police thinking of?

the strawberry fair was fantastic...I am a 16 year old and the music and atmosphere was amazing. Everything was really under control and the music was a real highlight! I will definatly be going again next year!
