Enter the great unknown

An international festival celebrating new technology art made its way to Cambridge – holding public art events, workshops and live performances – culminating in an open picnic extravaganza on Parker’s Piece. See all our photos here.

Enter_Unknown Territories photos

The Enter_Unknown Territories Festival is a combined arts and technology event that took place in Cambridge from 25th to 29th April, 2007.

Click the links above to see photos of Active Ingredient's Ere Be Dragons game, where competitors score points by covering terrain in the city and keeping control of their heartbeat.

Or how about Simon Keep's Aerial Phonography event, where participants follow a filmed hot air balloon flight through Camrbidge, taking in the sounds of the city. We have photos on the walk from around the city.

We have a complete gallery from Polar Produce's Come Outside, which used a bike ride to the countryside to power a kettle and photos from Mediashed's CCTV enabled spy-kites.

Plus there's images from Block Booster (a music sharing device), Local/Food (Rainer Prohaska's giant cooking event held at the end of the weekend), Bad Timing's sound manipulation using home electronics and photos from in and around the stunning domes that lived on Parker's Piece.
