The countryside sports enthusiast Jim Shannon has been asking about you. There were 715 breeding birds here last year, whilst a whopping 3124 birds spent the winter here. But only a measly 92 cormorants were culled. Could the cormorants' discrepancy be Jim's opportunity?

The DUP's Michelle McIlveen has been enquiring how much it cost the Children's Commissioner to launch her unsuccessful judicial review into the right to smack last November. The answer, according to the OFMDFM, is that "costs paid to date total £25,475.43, whilst outstanding legal fees are estimated to be £11,167. The total costs of the Judicial Review, therefore, are expected to amount to £36,642.43."
