At that time, no one could have guessed what fabulous treasures they would reveal. Their discovery and subsequent identification as British Deaf Association film footage dating back to the 1930s, has since had a profound impact on historians, not least of all many members of the deaf community. In 2007, See Hear broadcast some of the reels in a documentary about its contents, which included lost footage of Leslie Edwards, the mastermind behind the film reels. Since this time, new details have come to light. See Hear takes a second opportunity to delve into this rare footage and revisit the lost world of Leslie Edwards and 1930s deaf culture....</font></font></span></p>
