She has gained support from Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing in Newcastle for her elegant & forbidding track Stranger, so let it sweep you away & enjoy!

They brought with them tracks by unsigned bands recommended by their fans on Twitter. The bands selected were All Too Animal and their track Apes With Rollerskates, House Reverends with Daddy's Got A Boat and Aerialist Barbette by Babe.

They've described their sound "plinky soul" or "art folk" and it was passed onto us by BBC Introducing in Nottingham, which at the moment is a hotbed of quality music laying claim to No.1 album selling Jake Bugg and Dog Is Dead. Not bad!

This week's discovery is a banger from a 25 year old producer and DJ called Primer, also known as Zak Tysoe. His studio is in a converted chicken shed which he shares with various mice, cats and spiders - they must be great inspiration though as he's producing some lush beats, like on this track, Dawn Skyline. BBC Introducing in Northampton was impressed, and passed this onto us for a spin on my Wednesday night show on BBC Radio 1. Nice!

First up is Sam Geoghegan from York. He’s a 20 year old student making beautiful acoustic tunes, and BBC Introducing in York & North Yorkshire are loving his work. This track is called ‘Lions Feed’.

This lot have a really intriguing sound...and I like it! They are a Manchester group based around one Duncan Edward Jones, joined by his friends Chris McGrath, Henrietta Smith-Rolla and Jim Noir - an artist in his own right who you might have heard on my show before. They've released an album and an EP, and BBC Introducing in Manchester love them so much they got them in for an acoustic session. They passed the track onto us at Radio 1, and I played it on my Wednesday night show - listen from midnight every Wednesday on BBC Radio 1 if you want to hear more!

He says this may be the first and last ever song by Peter and The Kibbutznik, but we hope not - this is 2 minutes of noisy, bonkers brilliance that blew us away.
