Today, Feet Up Friday comes live from Belfast at a very special 'Festival of Radio'. Loads of other radio shows are being done from here in goldfish bowl-like studios that the public will be gawping into!

We have a lovely audience selected to join me as per usual, plus - Scouting For Girls will be my house band.

We all flew over this morning on a comedy flight. Myself, Producer Neil, Producer Sarah, James King from the movies, Chris Smith from the news and the Scouting For Girls chaps as well.

Hi-jinx and whacky behaviour from Chris Smith as he tried to draw on James King's face:

Here are the details:

Book into the 1330-1530 timeslot on Friday which will mean you can come into the exhibition and try out being a presenter and all that kind of thing - and you'll be able to see into the studio where we're doing the show - you can't get INTO the studio unfortunately as the Feet Up Friday audience will be in there - but you can come and have a nose around...

I hosted the press conference about Take That's new tour today at the poshest hotel in the world. It is literally the most swanky place I've ever been in. Unbelievably amazing. I put my best clobber on and was there to ask the boys some questions. I met the boys in their hotel room before the press conference and managed to steal some biscuits and used the facilities. Would be rude not to.

I'd not met Mark, Howard and Jason before and they all seemed to be loving being back together. Jason was wearing a lovely jumper.

They're back.

...Just in case you weren't sure

Cee-lo Green was on Later With...Jools Holland recently. Just got round to watching it on the old iPlayer. He did a brilliant performance and then decided to follow Jools around the studio as he introduced the next act. I think they should be the new Ant and Dec...

Watch the show here. It's flipping brilliant. Cee-lo is on 32mins in.

Mumford and Sons and Friends...

What a lovely night it was...A packed out beautiful venue called 'Cecil Sharp House' was the location for a great night of new music.

The Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club, Laura Marling and Mumford and Sons were all performing and it was very special.

In particular, as you might well know by now, I have a small obsession with Mumford. And by small, I mean, frighteningly big. I first heard them played by Colin Murray a couple of years ago on the slot now occupied by Grimmy

I then heard them do a Zane Lowe session and went to see them at a special show in a barn in Hertfordshire to celebrate the launch of their debut album.

Remember this?! - This wasn't that long ago actually. Just shows you what can happen in a year.

So that's it really. That's how my obsession began and 5 'Records of The Week' later, they're back at Radio 1 headlining their own special night. A great start to their journey.

The barn show last October:

I was lucky enough to DJ at my old University at the weekend at their Fresher's Ball. I spent three very happy years at The University of East Anglia in Norwich (a-ha!) and it was odd to be back in the same venue that holds many amazing memories. Some dark ones too...

I couldn't resist visiting my old student radio station either. 'Livewire 1350AM'. A very special place.

The studio my first show came from: Radio isn't glamorous

A 'tired' mess after my set. Ohhh UEA is won-der-ful... etc
