Members of the EastEnders cast recently headed over to Hackney to take part in a Q&A for the BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra Hackney Academy.

Nitin Ganatra (Masood), Himesh Patel (Tam), Danielle Harold (Lola) and Tameka Empson chatted openly about their how their experiences, hard work and determination landed them roles in EastEnders.

We were lucky enough to hang out with the newest addition to the EastEnders cast this week. David Witts (AKA Joey Branning) chats to us about his arrival into the wonderful world of Walford and tells us how he'll feel seeing his (rather gorgeous) face on screen for the first time.

He'll be in tonight's episode at 7.30 - you really don't want to miss it! Seriously, even the bees were attracted to him!

This week, as the sunshine beamed down on Walford, we joined the gorgeous Chucky Venn aka Ray Dixon *swoon* as he came off set.

We chatted away about his time so far on 'Britain's BEST soap' (well, we'd all agree with him there!) and his relationship with the incredibly energetic Tameka Empson (Kim Fox). Oh, and he may have mentioned some fairly impressively famous people he's worked with before!
