The New Walsall art gallery opens two brand new exhibitions in December 2007.

Artists Jane and Louise Wilson bring their new display to the Black Country along with John Pickering.

The work of Jane and Louise Wilson focuses on architectural spaces especially those that have been concerned with power or control.

Pickering's work is called the same as a mathematical equation (MP·MO=MR²) that scholars call ‘the inversion principle’.

Pickering uses the maths to create sculptures, thereby turning the mathematical equation into a form of artwork.

The two exhibitions run concurrently at the New Walsall Art gallery from Friday 14 December, 2007 to Sunday 27 January, 2008.

There will also be a private viewing of the display on Thursday 13 December, 2007 between 6-8pm at the gallery.
