St. Philips The BBC WM Christmas Carol Concert takes place this year on Monday 17th December at 1pm at Birmingham's Church of England Cathedral, also known as St. Philips. The Birmingham Cathedral Choir will lead the service and various BBC WM Presenters - including Ed Doolan, Phil Upton, Carl Chinn, Nikki Tapper, Daz Hale, Jenny Wilkes and Joe Aldred - will give readings.  Carl Chinn - reading again in 2007 The event will be recorded for broadcast on BBC WM, an edited version of which will air on Christmas Eve at 7pm and again on Christmas Day at 1pm. Tickets are £5 on the door or £3 with concessions with all proceeds going to the Cathedral.
