Saima Amreen will be presenting Midlands Masala for eight weeks, from Friday 3rd August.

Saima Amreen is a presenter for the BBC Asian Network.

She'll be standing in for Satnam Rana who usually presents Midlands Masala on a Friday night (some weeks from 9pm, others from 10pm).

Saima is excited about presenting the show and says it will be all about music mayhem the Asian way.

Saima: "I'm with you for the next 8 weeks and looking forward to spicing up your Friday nights with great music, entertainment and chat.

"I'll be celebrating Asian culture and the contributions British Asians in the West Midlands have made to music, arts and culture.

"So why not join in the fun."
