BBC Radio Berkshire has achieved three nominations in the 2009 Sony Awards, the most nominated BBC local radio station in the UK!

Andrew Peach could become the UK's best interviewer in the Interview Award category for his talk with Reading FC captain Graeme Murty the morning after the club's relegation to the Championship.

Managing editor Marianne Bell, who attended the nominations with breakfast presenter Andrew Peach, said: "It's a fantastic night for BBC Radio Berkshire.
