Find out how the day went on Saturday 29 March 2008. RaW is a BBC campaign to help adults across the UK read and write better. The RaW campaign roadshow hit Slough Ice Arena for the first time on Saturday 29 March 2008 and made a huge impact on the 775 spectators who watched Slough Jets lose 2-3 to arch Berkshire rivals Bracknell Bees. It might have been the wrong result for most of the crowd, but that didn't prevent 52 fans having a go at writing challenges as part of the BBC's RaW campaign. ![]() A RaW entrant The campaign aims to help adults across the UK read and write better.
