Flyover could solve traffic woes
A new flyover could be built as part of 56m improvements to the A419 at Blunsdon near Swindon.

Two exhibitions over the weekend will detail the Highways Agency plan which would help separate local traffic from through traffic on the road.

The agency claims the scheme would reduce congestion in the area and improve safety.

The exhibitions are at Liden Community centre on Friday 16 July and Blunsdon Village Hall on Saturday 17.

The A419 dual carriageway is one of the busiest routes past Swindon.

The road links the M4 near Swindon with the M5 just outside Gloucester.

The road also has to cope with local traffic entering Swindon and outlying villages.
